This offer applied to PSI, DUPRO, IPC, CLC inspections. It was limited to one free inspection per client.

What is a Product Inspection?

Product inspections allow you to verify product quality on-site, prior to dispatch.

QIMA inspectors check your products against your chosen specifications to assess workmanship quality, check packing, labeling, quantities and confirm the factory has all necessary certificates and licences to manufacture these products.

With the use of inspection checklists that you can select online and tailor to your needs, your quality control process can be standardized, and key quality concerns communicated to all parties involved in the inspection.

QIMA product inspections can be conducted at all stages of the manufacturing process:

  • IPC - Initial Production Check
  • DUPRO - During Production Inspection
  • PSI - Pre-Shipment Inspection
  • CLC - Container Loading Check

Why are Inspections Important?

In a health crisis like this, it is imperative that the quality of protective medical gear such as masks, gloves, coats and glasses are checked and up to standard before they are distributed for use by frontline teams and the public.

  • Ensure product quality meets local and international safety standards before distribution
  • Minimise crucial time-to-market delays
  • Avoid recalls and reputational damage
  • Don’t pay for defective goods

Carrying out a comprehensive product inspection will avoid situations that have already arisen during the COVID-19 outbreak. For example, on March 28 the Netherlands announced the recall of hundreds of thousands of face masks imported from China after they were found to be defective and did not meet local quality standards. Many of the masks had already been distributed to healthcare providers.
